THE BOARD
DADDY SHADI
(he/him) | PRESIDENT
Over the last decade, Daddy Shadi has served the CPP as a volunteer, club secretary, director, in leading the inaugural Board Oversight Committee, and is currently serving as the official CCKC representative for the CPP.
Daddy Shadi has also served on IML’s staff as the co-coordinator of Open Shine. He is a trustee emeritus of Out! Bowling, and had volunteered for the following: Open Shine, MIR, Mr. Leather 64Ten, Chicago Leather Community Outreach, St. James Pantry, The Imperial Windy City Court of the Prairie State Empire, Night Ministry, and Center on Halsted. He believes that volunteerism is core to maintaining our broader community, with service in both kink subcultures and local organizations being critical to the maintenance and development of healthy societies.
Daddy Shadi has also taught classes in kink, heavily promoting active consent as the default power exchange dynamic. He has taught classes on impact play, BIPOC issues, scene negotiation, and his primary kink, fisting. These classes have been held as part of the event weekends of Mr. Chicago Leather, Mr. Nebraska Leather, Mr. Kentucky Leather, and Mr. Leather 64Ten, as well as several standalone classes throughout the Ohio River Valley region. He believes kink education by the skilled is a critical component of serving the community, and that the only educators worth listening to are the ones who keep learning.
SOCRATES (SOCK)
(he/him) | VICE PRESIDENT
Socrates has lived in the Chicago area since February 2020 and joined the Chicago Pet Patrol in 2025. Since joining CPP, Socrates has been very active in the community at events and volunteers as a Chat Moderator and Co-Host for Board Game Nights at Dice Dojo.
Having a background working with other Non-Profit and charity groups from his time in Seattle while on the committee of Gamers Engaged, Socrates is happy to help give back to the community with the experiences he has been very lucky to have been part of.
Socrates other hobbies and interests outside of kink include, Tabletop Gaming (Warhammer 40K, RPGs, board games), loom knitting, teas, philosophical pondering, isekai light novels, and an eccentric variety of music.
CAT
(he/they) | TREASURER
CoolCat exists at the intersection of pet play and age play, with a broad range of BDSM interests mixed in. They attended their first kink event in 2003, and their kink list has been expanding ever since. CoolCat began teaching in the kink community at CAPCon in 2017, stepping in to lead a class on introducing kink into relationships after a last-minute presenter cancellation. They later founded a dedicated pet play programming committee at CAPCon to help bridge the ABDL and pet communities.
Since then, CoolCat has presented at events including CAPCon, Kinky Kollege, Fur^2, and Littles Jamboree, facilitating workshops on pet play, age play, and communicating wants and desires within relationships. They led a CPP discussion on introducing kink into relationships and a stuffie adventure workshop for Diaper Up’s ABDL Clubhouse. They are a frequent panelist in community discussions on pet and age play topics, including a moshing panel for CPP, a diapered pets panel for a CPP and Puddle Scouts joint event, and a panel on inclusivity in the pet play community at the Leather Archives. Their classes, panels, and workshops focus on giving people permission to have fun, be themselves, and rediscover the simple joy of play. CoolCat also organized Chicago Kritters, a munch created to welcome species and identities often overlooked in the mainstream pup and handler scene. They are deeply committed to creating an inclusive and equitable kink community that embraces all species, genders, and identities.
CoolCat plans on developing educational programming that helps different parts of the community better understand one another, provides entry points for the inexperienced, and creates experiences that encourage personal growth.
Their goal on the board is to broaden the club’s reach, grow membership, strengthen engagement, and position CPP as the thought leader on pet play within the larger kink community.
APOLLO
(he/they) | SECRETARY
Apollo has been involved with CPP for 4 years, and is someone who can think outside the box, adapt to situations, and give an ear out for someone when they need it the most. They really enjoy how much they’ve grown to participate with the community, and look forward to whatever is next.
SPIKE
(he/him) | BOARD MEMBER AT LARGE
Grrr! Spike is an old, grumpy dog who has been around for a long time in the pup/pet community. A very long time, like when there were dinosaurs and stuff. Maybe that’s why he is grumpy all the time. Anyhow, he is a previous CPP board member from 2017-2021 where he did a bunch of cool things like help change the club’s culture to be more inclusive and welcoming, become a recognized non-profit, and become a beacon in the community. After stepping back from the board, Spike continued to be an advisor and resource to the board and the club. Spike knows how intimidating and daunting it can be for new folks to join the community, and one of his passions is to make new folks feel comfortable, confident, and have the tools to jump in.
Outside of being a dog, Spike loves discussing the properties of various adhesives, playing hockey, being grumpy, and collecting old telephones. He doesn’t really know anything about adhesives, so maybe you can fill him in. The thing about phones is real, though. Just ask Spike about Henry Dreyfuss’ influence on the industrial design of Western Electric telephones, and he will bark about that for hours and hours. Also, he makes really good chili.
Spike is honored to have been chosen to serve on the board for five terms.
PONYHOUND G
(he/it) | BOARD MEMBER AT LARGE
G took its kinky journey into the communal side in the early 2010s. The many encounters it had across different cultures convinced him that kink is not just about erotics, but something profoundly enriching. Inspired by past queer activists and kink elders, G has worked to create space and opportunities so more people can explore BDSM in safer, kinder, and more inclusive ways.
In addition to teaching classes and leading discussions about kink, G has worked to document oral histories from elder leatherfolx, presented animal role-play at academic conferences, and curated multiple exhibitions. He co-founded several groups, including Chicago Region Active Crackers of Single-tails (CRACS), Impact Play Skill-Share, Chicago Kinky Asians (CKA), and Midwest Equine Alliance (MEA). It also had the honor to serve the community by juding title contests, including the inaugural Chicago Fetish Weekend, the International Puppy & Trainer Contest (IPTC), and International Mr. Leahter (IML).
G got to know CPP in 2015, the year he settled in the Windy City. Since then, it has collaborated with CPP in multiple occasions, and presented the club’s history at the the Leather Archives & Museum (LA&M). G appreciates the work successive CPP teams have done over the years in promoting and protecting safe and inclusive spaces for animal roleplay. He is glad to serve as a board member and plans to help the club grow while preserving its rich stories for the future.

DIRECTORS
Directors are appointed community members who lead or support specific areas of our work, such as chat moderation, creative projects, event coordination, education, and member engagement.
Each Director works within a role defined by the CPP Board and helps turn our organization’s goals into welcoming, well-run community experiences. Directors do not serve as voting Board members or Officers, but their skills, care, and leadership are an essential part of our community.
Director appointments are reviewed each year and may be renewed by the incoming Board.
Colossus (he/they) | Director of Moshing & Moderation
Obstinate. Loud. Caring. Incorrigible. Immovable. Goofy. The name’s Colossus.
Like Madonna, Colossus goes by one name. He’s been around the community for roughly 8 years, but he’s not always great with math, for he’s just a dog-man. Don’t call him puppy or good boy though, as there’s far too many of those for Colossus to know you’re referring to him!
Derby (he/him) | Director at Large
Derby is serving as a Director at Large after two terms of CPP Presidency. As a cheerful shiny dog, Derby enjoys causing trouble in latex, sports gear, or some combination of the two. Outside of CPP events, Derby is probably making someone laugh, dominating the competition in video games, or serving his friends a craft cocktail.
Virydius (he/it) | Director of Moshing
This little wolf pup is a chemist and proud cat uncle. His dexterous paws loves working with crafts, stationary, and knotty muscles.
This is his third year in the CPP leadership, after serving two terms as Treasurer. He can be found helping with monthly moshes for the club.
Zenith (he/him) | Director
Zenith is often found welcoming new critters to CPP events at the monthly mosh’s, crossover kink events, and conventions for the past 2 years. Come find him at the monthly mosh’s after he’s done setting up/breaking down! Pet the sleepy barn animal! He will love you!
He is a multi-media artist, horse-girl-turned horseback rider, now leather freak. He’s your local trans-masc service top dom daddy, lease horse, and breeding bull.
Pup Rook (They/Them) | Director of Moderation
A happy enby rubber dog with energy for days. A petplay critter for over a decade that enjoys silliness, makes art, and does silly dog crimes like eat chocolate. Awoo!
Jasper (he/him) | Director of Accessibility
Jasper is an active member of multiple mutual aid groups and disability advocacy groups in Chicago. He is passionate for community care and helping disabled folks navigate accessibility in the city, especially in kink spaces. Their hobbies include crafting , adoring cats, playing video games, and reading comic books.
Cy (he/it) | Director of Moderation
A pup/pony/furry greyaroace queer passionate about keeping the group chat civil and fun.

Sirius (he/him) | Director of Graphic Design
Sirius is a wandering pup with a nose for good people, loud music, cold beer, and whatever trouble the night happens to bring. He roams all over the Midwest, bouncing between cities, bars, events, and friendly faces, but calls Michigan home. Chicago has a special place in his city-dog heart, though. He has been involved in the pup space since 2020, and the broader furry and queer communities for much longer. A lifelong artist, Sirius has a particular love for comics, illustration, and graphic design, and he’s rarely far from a sketchbook or some new creative outlet.
Sorn (he/him) | Director
Sorn is a music nerd and a good pup who loves his scritches. He has previous experience creating materials for Midwest FurFest and the New Jersey Home for Lost Pets. He hopes to let his roots grow here in CPP and broaden the dialogue about intersectionality and the many paths that lead us all to petplay.
EMERITUS MEMBERS
“The Board Trustee Emeritus are considered non-voting, non-Executive, non-officer positions that function as an advisory position to the Board. They will be invited to Board Meetings as appropriate. These members have served the Board with distinction and are deserving of the same distinction for their outstanding service. In recognition of their time, dedication and long-term interest in CPP, they shall have Board Trustee Emeritus status, which cannot be revoked without both sufficient cause and a unanimous vote of the Board, and each revocation must be considered in sole and separate fashion. Standard procedures for notice and right to speak as a Member applies.”
